About Sam - A Comprehensive Approach to Holistic Healing

Samuel, a resident and practitioner based in Walsingham, Norfolk, seamlessly integrates the rich traditions of herbal medicine with his comprehensive knowledge and experience as an osteopath, offering a holistic healing approach that is both insightful and tailored.

Background and Practice
Samuel's journey in medical practice has been diverse and deeply enriching. Graduating in 2013 from the University College of Osteopathy, he has spent the past 10+ years immersing himself in full-time practice and is a registered member of the General Osteopathic Council. Samuel's expertise extends from deep sports massage, joint manipulation/adjustment, and acupuncture to cranial practices. With a penchant for being a 'generalist', his practice embraces all - whether young or old, and addressing sports or non-sports related concerns.

Multifaceted Healing: From Osteopathy to Herbal Medicine
Samuel doesn’t just stop at physical adjustments and treatments; he delves into the ancient and powerful world of herbal medicine, integrating it with his osteopathic practice. He has spent several years as a dispenser and mentee under Andrew Chevallier, a globally-renowned medical herbalist and author, which not only enriched his knowledge but also gave him a unique lens through which to view and treat his patients.

Experience Across Multiple Domains
In his journey, Samuel has navigated through diverse settings, working within both private and NHS clinics across London, Norfolk, and Lincolnshire. His experience also spills into the athletic world, being a qualified sports massage therapist, working with rugby teams and even having the honour of being a sports massage therapist for the performers in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

In addition to his hands-on healing practices, Samuel has contributed to the academic field as a published researcher and author. Furthermore, he is also a qualified rehabilitative pilates instructor, underscoring his holistic approach towards health and wellness by emphasizing preventive and rehabilitative strategies.

An Integrated, Tailored Approach to Healing
With plants serving as potent original remedies, Samuel leverages the rich array of chemical compounds found in them to treat various conditions, tailoring his herbal prescriptions to the specific needs of his patients, recognising their unique health statuses and issues.

Samuel’s practice stands out due to his consideration of not just the physical aspects of his patients but also the intricate interplay between their bodies, minds, and perhaps, even their souls. His use of herbal medicine addresses various health conditions, from functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome to anxiety and chronic inflammation, often weaving this natural approach with his osteopathic treatments to enhance overall patient well-being.

Education and Lifelong Learning
Committed to progressive and up-to-date practices, Samuel continually enhances his skills and knowledge through professional development courses, ensuring his techniques are not just current but also empirically validated.
